What do you do?
I am an entrepreneur. I own two businesses a business support/development service that would be kicking of soon as well as a clothing and accessories retail (Indiana Co.) that would be reopening by March.
When did you start saving with Piggybank?
I started saving with piggy bank in July 2017. Saving in a bank where I could just withdraw the money wasn’t exactly working for me.
What are you saving towards?
Honestly, I’m saving to improve my level of discipline when it comes to buying stuff…I have the worst spending habit. I think I was wealthy in my past life and I haven’t gotten over it yet…lol!
What do you spend most of your income on?
Easy. Data! I’m always on my phone. I do EVERYTHING from my phone. Work, shop, send emails, pay bills, watch my shows etc. It’s an expensive convenience

What would you like to stop spending money on?
Data…lol...If I could do everything on half the money I spend, I think I’ll be okay.
Where is your dream vacation destination?
Cuba. I just think it looks so beautiful. Take away the ills of communism and I think there’s such a rich, vibrant culture/history there. Also, I love dirty dancing: havana nights and I want to dance in the streets of cuba with a red flower in my hair. It’s random, but it’s true.
Within your savings period, have you ever been tempted to withdraw?
Yes! All the time. I like to spend money lmao! It’s my favourite thing to do.
How many times have you withdrawn from your savings?
I think 3 or 4 times…. That’s why I started safelocking.
How exactly has Piggybank helped you?

You started the savings challenge (on Piggybank). What motivated you to do that?
I saw a challenge on my instagram feed from a US financial blogger and I thought it’ll be great to design one for myself and others that might be interested.
How is the response to the challenge? Are people keeping to it and actually following it?
There’s a couple people that have taken the challenge. It’s super cool to see a random idea help someone. We may not save 500k or 1m but it’s a great start and I hope everyone follows through the best that they can.
How has the platform helped the challenge?
I think the platform especially the SafeLock gives a level of reassurance to people like myself struggling to save. It makes it possible for you to keep money away just incase or just to learn and be better at money management.
